5th Annual Genesis Lecture Series presented by Genesis Women's Shelter
The Lecture Series includes educational lectures and lunch at Maggiano’s Little Italy, Plano. Lunch begins at 12:00 pm on each of the lecture dates and will end promptly at 1:30 pm. This month's lecture features Cordelia Anderson, President, National Coalition to Prevent Child Sexual Abuse, speaking on The Impact of Pomography on Children, Youth and the Culture.

Greer Garson Gala presented by Texas Health Presbyterian Foundation
Every year, Texas Health Presbyterian Foundation host a signature fundraising event-the Greer Garson Gala- to raise support for programs and services of Texas Healt Presbytarian Hospital Dallas. In the early 1990s.Greer Garson, an Academy Award- winning actress and long-time supporter of the hospital, lent her name to this signature event to help draw community support for the hospital. The impact of her generosity for health care, education and research initiatives at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas is profound. Since 2005, more than 2.6 million had been raised to support hospital programs and services through the Greer Garson Gala.

The One Run will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Reverchon Park in Dallas. This event will include a 5K Run, a 1K Celebration Walk, and many exciting activites for the whole family. One Run benefits Cancer Support Comminity North Texas (formerly Gilda's Club), the only Texas affiliated of Cancer Support Communities, the largest international non-profit organization dedicated to providing support, education, hope and comminity to people affected by cancer.

The Chili and Chocolate Challenge will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the Studios at Las Colinas and will benefit Captain Hope’s Kids. Captain Hope's Kids mission is to help those who cannot help themselves, children. Through the collection of donations, supplies and fundraisers, they intend to give homeless children their best chance at living a normal life.
